Amy Joanne Robach (born February 6, 1973) is an American television reporter for ABC News.
She is the co-anchor of 20/20 and the breaking news anchor/fill-in anchor for Good Morning America. She worked as a national correspondent for NBC News, co-hosted the Saturday edition of NBC’s Today, and was an anchor on MSNBC. She has been co-anchoring 20/20 with David Muir since May 2018.
Robach revealed on Good Morning America on November 11, 2013, that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer after receiving a mammogram on live television on October 1, 2013, and after undergoing follow-up tests. She took a break from broadcasting to recover from a bilateral mastectomy. On November 22, 2013, Robach revealed that doctors discovered a second malignant tumor in her other breast during surgery and that the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes (classified as Stage IIB). She went through eight rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, and reconstructive surgery after that. Robach was cancer-free as of March 2022.

Robach was born in St. Joseph, Michigan, and grew up in East Lansing before moving to St. Louis, Missouri. Her family relocated to Georgia, where she completed high school and college. She attended Brookwood High School in Snellville, Georgia, and earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Georgia. She finished fourth in the Miss Georgia pageant in 1995.
